Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to hair and makeup services provided by Sade Morland Studios to you. Upon booking a hair/makeup application with Sade Morland Studios you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

 

MAKING A BOOKING

Booking a hair/makeup application can be made up to 1 day before if places are still available. Booking is fully secure upon confirmation of payment of a non-refundable booking fee.

 

WEDDING HAIR/MAKEUP BOOKINGS

All Wedding hair/makeup Bookings Require a £50 non-refundable booking fee to secure a trial and wedding day for the bride which will be deductible from the wedding day cost. An additional £10 per person will be charged if an assistant is required.

On your trial day you will need to pay that cost in full at the start of the appointment. You will have 24 hours to decide if you wish to use me for your wedding day and decide how many hair/make-ups you require for the day, these numbers cannot be changed 24 hours after the trial. If you decide to deduct the services you will still be charged for the agreed numbers on the invoice.

If you choose to cancel the wedding day services at this point you are not required to pay any further costs but your booking fee cannot be refunded.

The final cost for the wedding date is required 7 days before the wedding and is non-refundable. Failing to pay 7 days before will result in the date being released to other clients.

If you cancel up to 8 weeks before the payment may be carried over to a new date or towards another service.

If cancellation is due to covid restrictions the booking fee may be carried to a new date or towards another service.

Once a deposit has been received, an invoice will be sent to your email.  Payments can be made by cash or via bank transfer, cheques will not be accepted.

 

PAYMENT

Trials take place at Sade Morland Studios. 31 Brooklands Drive, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, LU73PD

Once a deposit has been received, an invoice will be sent to your email. The balance of the trial day is to be finalised on the day of the trial.

24 hours after the trial a new invoice will be sent confirming the services for the day and the balance stated is to be finalised 30 days before the wedding day. Payments can be made by cash or via bank transfer, cheques will not be accepted.

The non-refundable booking fee paid by the client is taken off the wedding day fee

The fee is to be paid in full by the client 30 days before the event.

Failure to pay the fee within the stated time will result in the event being cancelled by Sade Morland Studios.

 

TRAVEL

The client will cover any necessary travel expenses of the hair and makeup artist as agreed at time of booking

This is to include, should it be required, congestion charging and parking charges

For destination weddings airport transfers both in the UK and abroad, flights and accommodation with breakfast should all be provided.

 

PARKING

In circumstances when parking fees apply, the client will be required to cover the charges when hair or makeup services are being conducted, for example hotel parking, congestion charges and meter parking.

 

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Sade Morland requires information on whether the client has allergies. In no event shall Sade Morland Studios have any liability for incidental, or consequential damages however characterised, for example eczema, sensitive skin and eyes.

The hair/makeup artist reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members the party for, but not limited to, abusive and threatening behaviour.

 

PHOTOGRAPHS

Sade Morland Studios reserves the right to take photographic or film records of any of our hair/make-up applications, and may use any such photographs for promotional and/or commercial purposes.

Cancellations

At any point the client can cancel the event by informing the Sade Morland Studios in writing.

The hair/makeup artist will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until point of cancellation, however the client will not be liable for any further payments.

The client can cancel a trial at any point, however a trial cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full at the agreed rate.

Cancellations by the hair/makeup artist due to circumstances including, but not limited to, problems rendering the performance of their obligations and where no other suitable alternative can be given -will result in a refund to the client. No further compensation will be offered.

If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond the control of the hair/makeup artist every possible endeavour to rectify such situations will be made, however no compensation will be offered on the makeup artist’s part. The client is strongly advised to take out wedding insurance to cover against such situations.
